ThinkPad T570 for mobile professionals

The 15.6 inch touchscreen notebook runs Windows 10 Pro on a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7300U dual-core processor with 32 GB DDR4 memory. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 handles everyday visual tasks. A 128 GB SSD stores the operating system and core applications. The FHD IPS panel resolves 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Installation notes and common pitfalls

The laptop arrives with a fresh Windows 10 Pro image so first boot only requires region and account choices. Driver updates for the Intel HD Graphics 620 and Wi-Fi 4.1 combo should be run before heavy use. The single 128 GB SSD leaves little room for large media libraries; plan external storage early. Touchscreen calibration is automatic but may need a reset after a major OS update.

Practical limits of the integrated graphics

Intel HD Graphics 620 suits office apps and video playback but cannot drive modern 3D workloads. The 128 GB capacity fills quickly with offline files and updates, so cloud or USB expansion becomes necessary. Wi-Fi 4.1 tops out well below current 5 GHz throughput expectations. USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports peak at 5 Gbps, limiting external SSD speed.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 15.6" touchscreen and Intel HD Graphics 620 are functioning correctly after setup?

Open Windows Display settings to confirm the 1920 x 1080 resolution on the IPS panel and test touch response. In Device Manager, check that Intel HD Graphics 620 appears without errors under Display adapters.

What accessories are included in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The laptop ships with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed and the integrated 720p webcam, Wi-Fi 4.1, Bluetooth, HDMI, three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and one USB Type-C port built in. A power adapter is typically included; any external monitor, dock or carry case is sold separately.

Which configuration should I choose between the touchscreen and non-touchscreen versions?

Select the touchscreen model listed here if you need direct screen interaction for presentations or creative work; choose the non-touch variant if you prefer a standard display and want to avoid fingerprints on the 15.6" FHD IPS panel.
