Portable Bluetooth speaker for outdoor listeners

The Logitech Ultimate Ears MEGABOOM 4 in Purple delivers 360-degree sound with thundering bass from a larger woofer. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 20 hours of play time at default volume. The cylindrical design radiates immersive audio evenly in every direction. It floats and carries an IP67 rating for waterproof and dustproof durability.

Replaces smaller speakers when bass

The bigger enclosure and upgraded woofer produce deeper low-end than compact models, while the 20-hour battery covers a full day without recharging. IP67 protection means it survives full submersion and dust exposure that would kill lesser units. The jump is worth it for users who need loud, balanced output and all-day power in wet or dirty environments.

Fits in a backpack or cup holder for wireless

At 225 mm tall and 87 mm wide, the speaker sits securely in standard holders and travels light at 935 grams. Bluetooth connects to smartphones and tablets up to 45 metres away for cable-free playback. A USB-C port handles charging with the supplied cable. The BOOM app adds PartyUp pairing with compatible Ultimate Ears speakers and one-touch playlist shortcuts for major streaming services.

Questions about this item

What are the height and diameter of the cylindrical speaker so I can check if it fits my cup holder?

The speaker measures 225 mm tall and 87 mm wide, giving a compact cylinder that fits most standard cup holders.

How do I pair the speaker with my phone using Bluetooth, and what step is often missed?

Enable Bluetooth on your phone, press the Bluetooth button on the speaker until the tone sounds, then select "MEGABOOM 4" in your device list; the step often missed is holding the button long enough for pairing mode.

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery is sealed inside, so what maintenance or replacement will it need after a few years?

The internal battery is not user-replaceable; when capacity drops significantly the unit must be sent for professional service or replaced.
