Single 2.5" SAS/SATA Bay Adapter

The LORDWORLD MB741SP-B enclosure installs one 2.5-inch SAS or SATA hard drive or SSD into a standard 3.5-inch external floppy bay. A rugged metal frame and ABS caddy secure the drive while Multi-Flow passive cooling keeps temperatures low. Active Power Technology spins the drive up only when a unit is present, reducing unnecessary power draw. Tool-less operation makes swaps quick and straightforward.

Suits builders adding one 2.5" drive

Ideal for system integrators and home users who need a single 2.5-inch SAS or SATA drive in a 3.5-inch front bay without tools. The caddy accepts drives from 5 mm up to 15 mm thick, covering most laptop and enterprise models. Not for users who require multiple drives in one bay, hot-swap trays, or interfaces other than SAS and SATA.

Tool-less 3.5" bay fit

The decisive specification is the tool-less mounting into one external 3.5-inch bay, which determines whether your chassis can accept the adapter..verify the case has a free floppy-style opening before purchase.
