19 Inch 1U Vented Cantilever Shelf

The LORDWORLD 19 Inch 1U Vented Cantilever Shelf mounts in a standard 19 inch rack and provides a 12 inch deep platform for tower units, monitors or other equipment that cannot be rack-mounted directly. It supports up to 50LB of equipment weight.

Check rack depth and mounting hardware

Verify that your rack offers at least 300mm of usable depth from the front mounting rails so the 12 inch shelf does not interfere with rear cables or doors. The package includes M6 screws and cage nuts; confirm your rack uses M6 threads before installation.

Sustained load airflow and rigidity

Slotted venting across the shelf surface allows continuous front-to-rear airflow around equipment during long operating periods. Cold rolled steel with a powder coated finish resists rust and corrosion while maintaining structural rigidity under the full 50LB capacity over time.

Questions about this item

Does the shelf ship with the M6 screws and cage nuts needed to mount it in a 19 inch rack?

Yes, M6 screws and cage nuts are included so the shelf can be secured to standard 19 inch rack posts without extra hardware.

Is the 12 inch deep version the right choice for a shallow network switch versus a deeper tower chassis?

The 12 inch (300 mm) depth suits compact devices such as switches or short appliances; deeper tower servers may need a longer shelf.

How does the 50 lb load rating translate when the cantilever shelf is bolted to only the front posts?

The 50 lb capacity is rated for the shelf mounted on front posts with the supplied hardware; weight should be centred and evenly distributed.
