Four 2.5-inch drives in one 5.25 bay

The LORDWORLD ExpressCage MB324SP-1B fits four 2.5-inch SATA or SAS hard drives and SSDs into a single 5.25-inch drive bay. It is built for workstations and servers that need high storage density without sacrificing a full-height slot. The tray system accepts drives from 5 mm to 12.5 mm thick.

SATA 6 Gbps or SAS 3.0 12 Gbps single channel

Each bay connects through a standard 7-pin SATA data cable, so the total throughput is limited to the single-channel speed of the host controller. Drives can be swapped while the system runs, but the backplane does not multiply bandwidth across the four ports. Cable routing and controller choice determine real-world performance.

Metal enclosure with tool-less trays

A steel frame and ABS trays lock together with a latching door, while the ExpressTray design lets you insert or remove drives without screws. Each bay has a blue activity LED, and a single 15-pin SATA power connector feeds all four drives through locking latches. The built-in fan offers high, low and off settings for noise control.
