Check motherboard header and power source

Your motherboard must provide a USB 3.2 20-pin Type-E header to supply the upstream connection. The included jumper block lets you choose between drawing power from that header or from a PSU SATA power connector. Verify that your board has the required header and that a SATA power lead is reachable if you prefer auxiliary power.

Steel bracket with 2 ft internal cable

The hub mounts in a standard 3.5-inch floppy bay using a metal bracket that secures with case screws. A 2 ft USB Type-C male to Type-E cable routes from the hub to the motherboard header.
