  • UV-resistant waterproof jacket allows direct burial outdoor use

Two-pack Cat 6 cables for indoor and outdoor runs

The bundle contains two 7 ft Cat 6 patch cables with RJ45 connectors on both ends. Each cable uses 100% bare copper conductors and a UV-resistant PVC jacket rated for direct burial. Gold-plated contacts and snagless boots protect the connection during repeated mating cycles.

Sustained throughput at 550 MHz bandwidth

The cables operate at a tested 550 MHz, well above the base 250 MHz Cat 6 specification. They support 10 Gbps speeds up to 55 m and maintain 1 Gbps over the full 100 m channel. Shielded construction and pure copper conductors keep latency low during continuous gaming, streaming or CCTV loads.

10 Gbps rating over 55 m decides fit

If your link runs longer than 55 m the cable drops to 1 Gbps, so buyers needing 10 Gbps at 100 m cannot use this part. For shorter indoor or outdoor drops the 10 Gbps headroom covers gaming consoles, NAS transfers and PoE cameras.

Questions about this item

Does the 550 MHz shielded cable generate any heat or noise during continuous 10 Gbps transfers?

No, the passive copper conductors and PVC jacket produce no heat or audible noise regardless of data load.

What devices must already have RJ45 ports for these two 7 ft cables to work immediately?

Any router, switch, PC, PS5, Xbox, printer or CCTV unit with a standard RJ45 jack will connect directly.

Will the gold-plated RJ45 plugs and Cat 6 rating work reliably with older 100 Mbps switches and 1 Gbps NICs?

Yes, the cable auto-negotiates down to 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps while keeping full shielding and contact quality.
