Two Pack Cat 6 Ethernet Cables

This two pack supplies a pair of 7-foot Cat 6 patch cables with RJ45 connectors on each end. They are built with 100% bare copper conductors, gold-plated contacts and a snagless boot design. The PVC jacket is rated for both indoor and outdoor use, including direct burial.

Installers needing UV resistant direct burial cable

The cables suit installers who need UV resistant, waterproof links for outdoor runs, CCTV cameras or gaming consoles. They are not for buyers who require shielded twisted pair construction for high interference environments. They are also not for installations that need longer single cables beyond the 7-foot length supplied.

550 MHz bandwidth and 10 Gbps up to 55 metres

The cables operate at 550 MHz bandwidth and support 10 Gbps speeds up to 55 metres, dropping to 1 Gbps at 100 metres. This frequency and distance limit decides whether the cable matches the performance needs of the planned network run.

Questions about this item

Will the gold-plated RJ45 connectors need replacing if the clips break?

The snagless boot design protects the clips from damage during insertion and removal, reducing the chance of breakage. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion for long-term connection stability.

What speed limit applies when I run this cable at its full 7 ft length?

The cable supports up to 10 Gbps at 550 MHz bandwidth over 7 ft, well within the 55 m limit for 10 Gbps Cat 6 performance.

Does the PVC jacket get hot or draw extra power during all-day PoE use?

Ethernet cables are passive components; they draw no power themselves and generate no heat. The PVC jacket is rated for UV and water resistance, not thermal load.
