Connects USB-C sources to DisplayPort 1.4 displays at 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz over 6.6 ft
This 6.6 ft LUOM BK-CD2 cable connects a USB-C source with DP Alt Mode to a DisplayPort 1.4 monitor. It carries 32.4 Gbps bandwidth for 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 2K at 240 Hz with HDR and HDCP 2.2 support. Triple shielding and solid copper conductors reduce signal loss.
Suits users driving 8K or high-refresh 4K displays from Thunderbolt 3 or 4 ports on recent MacBooks, iPads, XPS or Galaxy devices. Not for buyers whose USB-C port lacks video output, who need USB data or power delivery through the same cable, or who require longer runs beyond 6.6 ft.
The cable implements HBR3 and DSC 1.2 for visually lossless compression up to 3:1. It is backwards compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 sinks. The single specification that decides fit is whether the host provides DP Alt Mode over USB-C.

Other versions of this model
The USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode so the cable can pass a DisplayPort 1.4 signal to your monitor.
Yes, the cable is backwards compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 displays, so your existing monitor will still receive a video signal.
Open your display settings and verify the active resolution reads 3840x2160 with a 144 Hz refresh rate selected.
