LUOM HD84 headset splitter 2-pack

The LUOM HD84 is a 3.5mm stereo Y-splitter that connects a single 4-position headset to separate microphone and headphone ports on a PC or laptop. The pack contains two rose-pink cables so you can equip two workstations or keep a spare. Each adapter measures 30 cm and uses gold-plated contacts with an aluminium alloy housing.

Check your ports and headset wiring

Verify that the computer has distinct 3.5mm jacks for microphone input and headphone output. Confirm the headset uses a 4-pole TRRS plug; the microphone will not function with Apple original earphones or Beats headphones. Ensure the cable length suits the distance between the ports and your seated position.

Fits a dual-port PC audio layout

The single 3.5mm male plug inserts into the headset, while the two 3.5mm male ends plug into the PC mic and headphone sockets respectively. This frees the combined headset jack on newer laptops for other uses and avoids the need for a USB sound card. The flexible cable routes easily around desk clutter.

Questions about this item

Does the pack include two separate splitter cables or just one?

The pack contains two identical splitter cables, each 30 cm long, so nothing extra needs to be purchased for a second headset.

Which version should I choose if my headset has a single 4-pole plug?

This HD84 model is the correct version; its 3.5 mm 4-position female input accepts a combined headset plug and splits it to separate headphone and microphone 3-pole male connectors.

Will the microphone on my Apple EarPods work through this adapter on a PC?

The manufacturer notes that the microphone will not function with Apple original earphones or Beats headphones when used with this splitter.
