Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1x4 version or look for a different port count?

This model is a fixed 1x4 splitter — one HDMI input feeds four identical HDMI outputs. If you need more or fewer outputs you would need a different unit.

What does the 4K@30Hz rating mean when I connect it to my TV?

The splitter passes 3840 x 2160 resolution at up to 30 Hz, so 4K video plays at 30 frames per second. It does not support 4K at 60 Hz.

Which HDMI standard does the HDMI698352 use and what bandwidth limit applies?

It uses HDMI 1.4b with a maximum bandwidth of 225 MHz, which caps the signal at 4K@30Hz and 1080p@60Hz.
