Extracts 7.1-channel HDMI audio plus optical, coaxial and 3.5 mm outputs while passing 8K 60 Hz video at 48 Gbps
This LUOM OZ8V1 unit splits a single HDMI source into one HDMI pass-through and four separate audio outputs. It serves installers and enthusiasts who need to route 8K 60Hz or 4K 120Hz video to a display while sending multichannel sound to a soundbar, AV receiver or legacy amplifier. The extractor handles Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HDCP 2.3 without stripping metadata.
The extractor maintains a stable 48Gbps link during long gaming or playback sessions, preventing the signal drops that cheaper splitters show after minutes of 8K 60Hz or 4K 120Hz throughput. Active EDID copying keeps the source locked to the display capabilities, so resolution and refresh rate do not renegotiate mid-session. HDCP 2.3 handshake remains valid across the full chain, avoiding the black-screen events common with passive devices under continuous load.
Connect the 5V 1A adapter, link the HDMI source and display, then choose an audio output via the included IR remote — no drivers or software required. The most common issue is using an ultra-thin HDMI cable longer than two metres at 8K 60Hz, which exceeds the AWG30 specification and causes sparkles or link loss. A second frequent error is forgetting to set the source device to bitstream or LPCM 7.1, leaving the Toslink and coaxial ports limited to 5.1 channels.

The unit is a passive extractor with no fan; it draws 5 V at 1 A from the included adapter and stays cool during all-day 8K 60Hz and 7.1CH operation.
You need one HDMI 2.1 cable rated for 48 Gbps, plus your choice of Toslink, coaxial or 3.5 mm cable for audio; the 5 V 1 A DC adapter is supplied in the box.
Yes — the splitter supports HDCP 1.1 through 2.3 and passes 1080p at 240 Hz while extracting 5.1CH audio to Toslink or coaxial for legacy receivers.
