Plug-and-play with distance limits

Installation is straightforward: connect the source to the single input and up to eight displays to the outputs, then attach the included 5V/1A power adapter. No drivers or configuration are required. The main practical constraint is cable length: at 1080p the input cable can reach 15 m and each output 20 m, while at 4K/30fs the input is limited to 10 m and outputs to 15 m when using standard AWG24 HDMI cables.

Bandwidth and format boundaries

The splitter operates at a maximum TMDS clock of 340 MHz with a total bandwidth of 10.2 Gbps, which caps video at 4K/30fs and excludes higher refresh rates or 4K/60fs signals. It passes deep-colour formats up to 36-bit and multi-channel audio including LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD, but cannot transmit audio or video formats that exceed the 10.2 Gbps ceiling.
