What this splitter does

The LUOM OZF14A takes one HDMI source and copies it to three displays at the same time. It is built for installers or home users who need identical output on multiple screens. The unit does not support extended desktop modes. Every connected monitor shows the same image.

Mirror-only 1×3 HDMI output

The single specification that decides fit is the 1×3 mirror topology. One HDMI input feeds three HDMI outputs with no switching or matrix function. Maximum resolution is 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz. HDMI 1.4b compliance and 3.4 Gbps bandwidth limit the link to that refresh rate. Deep colour up to 12 bit and 3D formats are passed through.

Passive cooling and external power

The aluminium enclosure runs without a fan, so operation is silent. A 5 V DC adapter is included and draws minimal power from the mains. Typical consumption stays well below 5 W. The splitter is rated for input cables up to 15 metres and output cables up to 15 metres at 1080p, dropping to 8 metres each when running 4K 30 Hz signals.

Questions about this item

What does the 3840x2160 at 30Hz figure mean when the splitter is connected to three displays?

Each of the three HDMI outputs will show an identical copy of the source at up to 3840x2160 resolution and 30Hz refresh rate; the splitter does not support extending the desktop across screens.

Which HDMI version does the OZF14A implement and what bandwidth limit does that impose?

The unit complies with HDMI 1.4b, capping the signal at 3.4Gbps with a TMDS clock up to 340MHz, which allows 4K at 30Hz and 8/10/12-bit deep colour.

What are the physical dimensions and mounting requirements for the splitter box?

The enclosure measures 5.59 x 3.15 x 1.26 inches and weighs 3.2 ounces; it sits on a flat surface and requires the included 5V DC power adapter to operate.
