Signal distribution

The LUOM OZF5-1 splits one HDMI source across eight displays at up to 3840 x 2160 resolution and 60 Hz refresh. It handles 24, 30, 36 and 48-bit deep colour plus HDR10, and passes DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD, LPCM 7.1 and other high-resolution audio formats. The unit is built for installers, digital-signage operators and multi-room AV systems that need identical pictures on every screen. It does not extend a desktop, so users wanting independent monitors should look elsewhere.

Passive operation

The splitter draws power from the included AC adapter and regenerates the TMDS signal at 18 Gbps bandwidth with HDCP 2.2 compliance. No active cooling is present, so the aluminium enclosure runs silent in normal indoor use. Signal levels stay within 0.5 to 1.5 V p-p on the data lines and 5 V on the DDC channel, keeping power draw low enough for continuous operation without a fan.

Build integration

One HDMI input and eight HDMI outputs fit in a 5.59 x 3.15 x 1.26 inch black chassis weighing 3.2 ounces, so it tucks behind a rack or display without extra brackets. The box includes the splitter, the AC adapter and a manual; cables are not supplied. EDID copy and scaler functions let a 4K 60 Hz source feed mixed 4K and 1080p sinks automatically, reducing the need for external converters.
