What this extractor does

The LUOM OZV8-2 takes one HDMI input and provides an HDMI ARC output plus optical Toslink, stereo RCA and 3.5 mm analogue audio outputs. It handles 4K at 60 Hz with YUV 4:4:4, HDR10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos pass-through. The unit is powered by an included 5 V 1 A adapter.

Check your source and cables

Verify that your source device can supply an HDMI 2.0 signal up to 18.5 Gbps and that both input and output cables are no longer than 10 m using AWG26 HDMI 2.0a rated leads. The extractor requires the external power supply to operate, so a free mains socket is needed near the installation point.

Behaviour during long sessions

Signal retiming and HDCP 2.2 support keep the video stream stable over extended playback. The aluminium enclosure dissipates heat without a fan, so the device runs silently while continuously separating multi-channel formats such as LPCM 7.1, DTS-HD or Dolby TrueHD into the analogue and optical outputs.
