USB4 cable with 40 Gbps and 240 W

This five-foot USB4 cable carries data at up to 40 Gbps and delivers up to 240 W of power when both ends support the standard. The right-angle USB-C connectors fit tight spaces and remain reversible. It is suited for users who need maximum throughput and charging from a single cable.

Limits of the USB4 Gen 3x2 interface

Full 40 Gbps speed and 240 W charging only occur when the host, device and any charger all implement USB4 Gen 3x2 and PD 3.1 at 48 V / 5 A. Older USB 3.2, 3.1 or 3.0 ports will fall back to their native data and power ceilings. Video output tops out at 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz on a single display; dual 4K 60 Hz requires two separate cables.

Check your ports and power needs

Verify that your laptop, dock, monitor or SSD enclosure has a USB-C port rated for USB4 or Thunderbolt 3 or 4 to reach the advertised bandwidth. Confirm the charger can supply the wattage your device requires, up to 240 W. The right-angle plug may block adjacent ports on some devices, so inspect the layout before ordering.
