66 ft 8K 60 Hz DisplayPort cable

This 66 ft fibre-optic DisplayPort 1.4 cable supports up to 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and carries 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz. It is built for installers and enthusiasts who need long-distance video and audio links between a PC or laptop and a monitor, projector or HDTV. The hybrid glass-fibre and copper construction keeps the cable slim and flexible for in-wall or tight-space routing. Gold-plated connectors and a zinc-alloy shell resist corrosion and mechanical stress.

Source and display must support DP 1.4

Before ordering, verify that both the graphics card and the display implement DisplayPort 1.4 with HBR3 and DSC 1.2. The cable is backward compatible with DP 1.2 signals, but 8K 60 Hz and 4K 144 Hz require the higher link rate. Check that the source can output 7680×3840 at 60 Hz or 3840×2160 at 144 Hz and that the sink accepts those timings. The connectors are male-to-male, so no gender changers are needed.

Sustained 32.4 Gbps over 20 metres

Optical fibres maintain the full 32.4 Gbps data rate across the entire 66 ft length without the signal drop-off seen in copper cables at this distance. The triple-shielded, TPE-jacketed hybrid structure rejects EMI and handles repeated bending during installation. Gold-plated contacts and the zinc-alloy housing keep contact resistance stable over many mating cycles, so 8K 60 Hz and 4K 144 Hz streams stay artefact-free during extended sessions.

Questions about this item

Does the 66 ft LUOM TJ-A077 come with everything needed for an in-wall run, or must I buy extra wall plates or conduits?

The cable has male DisplayPort 1.4 connectors on both ends and a wear-resisting TPE jacket; no wall plates, pull strings or conduits are included.

Should I choose the 66 ft version or a shorter length for my 8K 60 Hz setup?

This model is only offered at 66 ft; the fiber-optic design maintains the full 32.4 Gbps bandwidth at that distance, so no shorter variant is required for signal integrity.

Will the advertised 32.4 Gbps actually deliver 8K 60 Hz on my graphics card and monitor?

The cable meets the DisplayPort 1.4 specification with 32.4 Gbps bandwidth, enabling 8K 7680×3840 at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz provided both source and display support those modes.
