1×8 HDMI Splitter for 4K 30 Hz Distribution

The LUOM YME-098 takes a single HDMI source and duplicates the signal across eight displays simultaneously. It supports video resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 25 or 30 Hz, plus 1080p and 3D formats. Compatible with consoles, media players, PCs and projectors that have a standard HDMI output.

Verify Source Output and Cable Lengths Before Buying

Confirm that your source device can deliver 4K at 30 Hz or the lower resolution you plan to use. Each display requires its own HDMI cable; the splitter provides only a 5 in. pigtail on the input side. The unit is HDMI 1.4 and HDCP 1.3 compliant, so older 1.3, 1.2, 1.1 or 1.0 sources will also work.

Passive Operation With 10.2 Gbps Bandwidth

The splitter draws power from the HDMI source and has no fan, so it runs silently. It regenerates the signal to allow input-to-output cable runs up to 130 ft with AWG26 cable. Deep-colour 48-bit video and audio formats such as DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD are transmitted without additional power.

Questions about this item

Does the LUOM YME-098 include HDMI cables or do I need to buy them separately?

The splitter has one HDMI input and eight HDMI outputs; cables are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose this 1x8 model or a smaller splitter for my setup?

Choose the 1x8 model when you need to feed one source to eight displays; pick a smaller unit if you only need two to four outputs.

What does the 4K 30 Hz rating mean for my TV and source device?

The splitter passes 3840 x 2160 at 25 or 30 Hz with 10.2 Gbps bandwidth, so 4K 60 Hz sources will be limited to 30 Hz on all eight screens.
