1×8 HDMI splitter for 4K 30 Hz sources

The LUOM YME-098 takes one HDMI input and duplicates it across eight HDMI outputs at up to 3840 × 2160 resolution at 25 or 30 Hz. It supports 10.2 Gbps bandwidth, 48-bit deep color and audio formats including DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD. The unit is powered and regenerates the signal for runs up to 130 ft with standard cable.

Ideal for multi-display installs.

Installations such as digital signage, conference rooms, classrooms or security monitoring that need the same 4K 30 Hz image on eight screens will find this splitter suitable. Buyers who need 4K at 50 or 60 Hz, HDR metadata pass-through, HDCP 2.2 compliance or variable refresh rates for gaming should look at a different class of device.

Verify source resolution, cable lengths and power

Confirm the source device can output 3840 × 2160 at 25 or 30 Hz and that each display accepts that timing. Check that total cable runs stay within the 130 ft guideline for AWG26 cable and ensure a suitable power supply is connected to the splitter before use.

Questions about this item

What source device do I need to connect to the single HDMI input?

Any device with an HDMI output — PC, laptop, Fire TV stick, game console such as Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 or PS4, Blu-ray player, set-top box or similar — can serve as the source.

Will the splitter pass a 1080p 60 Hz signal from an older console to the eight outputs?

Yes, the unit supports 1080p at 60 Hz along with 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080i, so legacy sources work without downscaling.

How can I verify the splitter is delivering 4K 30 Hz to all eight displays after installation?

Check each display’s on-screen information menu; it should report 3840 x 2160 at 25 or 30 Hz, and the source device should list the splitter as an HDMI 1.4 sink capable of 4K 30 Hz.
