45U Steel Server Rack

The Middle Atlantic BGR-4527 is a 45U server rack built from steel with a black powder coat finish. It provides 45 rack units of mounting space for servers, network gear and patch panels. The frame is designed for horizontal mounting in data centres, server rooms or office environments. Its breakthrough construction delivers high strength without unnecessary weight.

27in Depth Adjustable Rails

The cabinet measures 27 inches deep, 23 inches wide and 82.88 inches high. Standard front and rear 10-32 threaded rackrails are adjustable and include numbered spaces for quick alignment. Wide open top and bottom panels allow flexible cable routing and airflow configurations. Pre-threaded ganging holes let installers join multiple racks while fully loaded. A vented rear door is included and accepts optional fans for active cooling.

Lever Lock Extender Bay Ready

The rack accepts Lever Lock tool-free cable management accessories to simplify daily cable changes. An extender bay can be added later to increase usable depth by three inches at the front or rear. A brush grommet rear door kit is also supported for large cable passages without fishing. These modular options let the enclosure adapt as infrastructure requirements evolve.

Questions about this item

How deep is the rack and what equipment depth does that support?

The rack is 27 inches deep, providing clearance for servers and network gear up to that depth minus cable bend radius.

What floor space and ceiling height are required for the 45U frame?

The cabinet occupies 23 inches wide by 27 inches deep and stands 82.88 inches tall, so allow that footprint plus aisle clearance.

How are the 10-32 rackrails set up and what step is often missed?

Rails are pre-threaded and adjustable front to rear; the common miss is not aligning both rails to the same numbered U spaces before mounting heavy gear.
