Rackmount UPS delivering 10000VA/8550W with hardwire input, 19 mixed 120V and 208-240V outlets, RS-232/USB management, and 3140J surge protection
The MINUTEMAN ED10KRT-10KTF2 is a 4U rackmount battery backup delivering 8550W of power factor corrected output. It accepts hardwired input at 208, 220, 230 or 240VAC and provides configurable output at both 120VAC and 208-240VAC. The unit suits data centres and industrial sites requiring continuous power for servers and networking hardware.
Operating temperature ranges from 32°F to 104°F with humidity tolerance up to 95 percent non-condensing. The UPS handles input frequency from 40 to 70Hz at full load while maintaining output frequency at 50 or 60Hz with a tolerance of 0.1Hz. Surge energy rating is 3140 Joules and the unit meets Energy Star 2.0 efficiency requirements.
RS-232 and USB ports enable integration with monitoring software for automated shutdown and status alerts. The BM0098 valve regulated lead-acid battery module is user replaceable to extend service life without removing the UPS. Nineteen output connections include L6-30R, L6-20R, L5-30R, 5-15/20R and terminal blocks for flexible equipment hookup.

Other versions of this model
The unit requires hardwire input installation by a qualified electrician; the step often missed is verifying the site voltage matches one of the supported ranges (208, 220, 230, or 240 VAC) before wiring.
The internal valve-regulated lead-acid batteries are user-replaceable using the BM0098 kit; plan replacement every three to five years depending on temperature and discharge cycles.
Battery runtime at full load is two minutes, so the energy reserve is the first constraint during an extended outage.
