5000VA Online UPS for Rack or Tower Deployment

The Minuteman Endeavor ED5KRT-5KTF is a 5000VA, 4275W online double-conversion UPS designed for 208-240V environments. It supports critical servers, network gear and storage arrays that require continuous, conditioned power with zero transfer time. The unit fits a 4U rack space or stands as a tower for flexible installation.

11 Minutes at Half Load, 3 Minutes at Full Load

At 50 percent load the internal batteries deliver approximately 11 minutes of runtime, dropping to 3 minutes at full 4275W load. This window covers graceful shutdowns or bridges short utility interruptions. Extended outages require additional battery packs; the UPS cannot sustain heavy loads beyond the rated minutes without external expansion.

Hot-Swappable Batteries and Touchscreen LCD

Front-access BM0097 battery modules can be replaced without powering down connected equipment, maintaining uptime during maintenance. A multi-colour touchscreen LCD provides real-time status, configuration and predictive replacement alerts. RS-232 and USB ports enable software integration for automated shutdown and monitoring, while 3140-joule surge protection guards attached devices.

Questions about this item

Will the ED5KRT-5KTF accept the 208 V feed from my existing PDU without rewiring?

Yes, the input voltage range is 156-280 VAC, so a 208 V source falls well inside the window and requires no rewiring.

How can I confirm the UPS is regulating voltage correctly after installation?

The multi-colour touchscreen LCD shows real-time input and output voltage, frequency and load percentage, letting you verify regulation at a glance.

Which cables and battery modules come in the box, and what must I order separately?

The unit ships with the internal BM0097 battery set installed; the NEMA L6-30P input cord and any output cables for the L6-30R, L6-20R, 5-15/20R or terminal-block outlets are sold separately.
