Monolith T4 Tower Speaker

The Monolith T4 tower speaker is a passive home-audio loudspeaker sold individually for stereo or multi-channel systems. It suits listeners who want accurate midrange, crisp highs and punchy bass in a living-room or dedicated theatre space. A 20 mm silk-dome tweeter mounted in a custom waveguide widens dispersion and sharpens imaging. The cabinet uses thick internal bracing to suppress colouration.

Sustained listening behaviour

During extended sessions the braced MDF enclosure keeps cabinet resonances low, so tonal balance stays consistent even at higher volumes. The lightweight yet rigid woofers maintain quick transient response without compressing the bass. Dual 5-way binding posts provide a secure, low-resistance connection that does not degrade over long cable runs. The waveguide continues to deliver a wide sweet spot across the entire listening area.

Check before ordering

Verify that your amplifier or receiver can drive a passive speaker with binding-post terminals and matches the impedance and sensitivity the product requires. Ensure you have floor space for a full-height tower and that you plan to purchase the appropriate number of units for your desired channel layout. Buyers who need powered speakers with built-in amplification or wireless streaming should consider a different category.

Questions about this item

Does the 20 mm silk dome tweeter generate any audible hiss or heat during extended listening sessions?

The 20 mm silk dome tweeter is a passive driver; it produces no electrical noise or measurable heat on its own, so extended playback adds no hiss or warmth from the speaker itself.

What amplifier connections are required to drive the dual 5-way binding posts on each tower?

You need an amplifier or receiver with speaker-level outputs that accept bare wire, spade lugs or banana plugs to match the dual 5-way binding posts on each cabinet.

Will the Monolith T4 integrate cleanly with an older receiver that only offers 8-ohm rated outputs?

The speaker presents a standard nominal impedance compatible with typical 8-ohm rated amplifiers, so an older receiver will drive it without impedance mismatch.
