Katana A15 Ryzen 9 8945HS laptop

This MSI Katana A15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor with 8 cores and 16 threads. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU carrying 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The system ships with Windows 11 Home and a 144Hz full HD display.

Suits gamers needing high frame rates

The 144Hz panel and RTX 4070 graphics suit players who want smooth motion in competitive titles at 1920x1080 resolution. Buyers who need more than 512GB of storage or more than 16GB of memory should look elsewhere unless they plan to upgrade after purchase.

Opened chassis for memory and storage upgrades

The supplier opens the factory seal to install a 32GB DDR5 kit and a 1TB PCIe SSD before shipping. This means the laptop arrives with upgraded components already tested. Buyers uncomfortable with a pre-opened box or who prefer to perform upgrades themselves should consider an unopened unit.
