18-inch QHD+ 240Hz gaming laptop

This MSI Vector A18 pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX 16-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 graphics card. The 18.0-inch IPS-level panel delivers 2560x1600 resolution at 240Hz with 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage. It ships with 32GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home.

A wired RJ45 jack, combo audio jack and SD card reader complete the physical links. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 handle wireless duties without extra dongles.

Cooling and power profile

The 15.91 x 12.09 x 1.26-inch chassis weighs 7.94 pounds and houses the 64MB Smart Cache CPU with its 2.5GHz to 5.4GHz boost range. In typical gaming loads the thermal solution keeps the 16-core chip and 16GB GDDR7 GPU stable while fan noise stays at a moderate level for an 18-inch class machine. Power draw scales with the 5080 GPU workload under the discrete graphics mode.
