Orbi 970 WiFi 7 mesh system

The Netgear Orbi 970 Series delivers a quad-band WiFi 7 mesh system in a 2-pack containing one router and one satellite. It covers up to 6,600 sq. ft. with aggregated wireless rates up to 27Gbps across 16 streams. A 10 Gig internet WAN port and multi-gig LAN ports provide wired throughput for high-speed fibre or cable connections.

Suited for large homes needing maximum WiFi 7

Households running 8K streaming, VR, video conferencing and hundreds of concurrent devices benefit from the dedicated 5GHz backhaul and 12 internal antennas. Buyers who need coverage beyond 6,600 sq. ft. or more than two nodes should look at larger packs. Users without multi-gig internet plans will not utilise the 10Gbps WAN port.

Quad-band WiFi 7 with dedicated backhaul

The system operates on four bands simultaneously: 6GHz at 11,530Mbps, a dedicated 5GHz backhaul at 8,647Mbps, a second 5GHz band at 5,765Mbps and 2.4GHz at 1,147Mbps. This architecture keeps throughput high across all connected devices without sacrificing backhaul performance.
