Professional Caulking Gun for Precision Work

The Newborn Dual-Thrust Smooth Rod Caulking Gun is a manual dispenser built for professionals who need precise control over sealant application. Its dual-thrust mechanism lets users switch between 12:1 and 24:1 ratios to match the material viscosity. The purple zinc alloy frame provides durability on demanding job sites.

Dual Thrust Ratios Handle Light to Heavy Materials

At the 12:1 setting the gun comfortably dispenses light-bodied silicones and standard caulks with minimal effort. Switching to 24:1 delivers the extra force needed for thick polyurethanes and construction adhesives without requiring a powered tool. The smooth rod action maintains steady bead control across both ratios.

Manual Operation Limits Speed and Continuous Flow

Because the tool is hand-powered, output depends entirely on trigger pulls and operator stamina. Very large joints or high-volume jobs will be slower than with pneumatic or battery alternatives. The 10 oz cartridge capacity also means frequent reloads on extended runs.

Questions about this item

Will the 12:1 or 24:1 thrust setting work better with the older cartridges I already have?

Use the 12:1 setting for lighter materials such as standard silicones and the 24:1 setting for thicker polyurethanes or construction adhesives; match the ratio to the cartridge viscosity.

How can I confirm the dual-thrust mechanism is engaging correctly on the 360-DT?

Switch between the 12:1 and 24:1 positions; you should feel a distinct change in trigger resistance and see the rod advance at different speeds per squeeze.

Does the purple 10 oz gun come with a spout cutter and seal puncturer, or must I buy them separately?

The supplied description lists a built-in spout cutter and seal puncturer as part of the gun; no separate purchase is required for those tools.
