DisplayPort 1.2 to DVI converter

This Nippon Labs adapter connects a DisplayPort-equipped computer to a DVI monitor, TV or projector. It supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz for video streaming or gaming. The gold-plated connectors and latch mechanism keep the link secure. No driver installation is required for operation.

One-way DP-to-DVI signal only

The adapter converts DisplayPort 1.2 output to a DVI-I female port and does not work in the reverse direction. It carries digital video but provides no audio through the DVI connection. A separate DVI cable is needed to complete the link. Only a single display can be driven at one time.

Plug-and-play with a separate DVI cable

Installation is a matter of plugging the DisplayPort male end into the source and attaching a DVI cable to the female port. The latches hold the DisplayPort connector firmly in place. The common mistake is expecting bi-directional use or audio output, neither of which this adapter supports.
