Wireless USB-C to HDMI extender

The Nyrius TDD21TX transmits Full HD 1080p video from a USB-C source to an HDMI display without cables, apps, drivers or a Wi-Fi network. It is built for users who want a simple wireless link between a laptop, phone or tablet and a TV or projector.

Range and interference handling

Lab tests certify transmission up to 50ft through walls, floors and ceilings and up to 150ft in clear line of sight. Auto-channel switching scans the spectrum to avoid interference from other wireless devices and keeps the 60Hz stream stable.

Plug-and-play operation

The sender connects to a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and the receiver plugs into an HDMI port and a power source. No software installation or subscription is required, so streaming begins immediately after the two connections are made.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Nyrius TDD21TX and what step is commonly missed?

Connect the transmitter to a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode, then connect the receiver to an HDMI display and power it. The step often missed is confirming the source device's USB-C port actually carries video.

What maintenance or replacement will the Nyrius TDD21TX need over time?

The unit has no user-serviceable parts or replaceable batteries. Keep the transmitter and receiver vents clear of dust and ensure the USB-C and HDMI connectors stay clean for reliable contact.

What is the first limit I will hit when streaming 1080p continuously with the Nyrius TDD21TX?

The link is rated for 1080p at 60 Hz. Sustained use beyond 50 ft through walls or 150 ft in clear line of sight will degrade the signal before any thermal or bandwidth ceiling is reached.
