OtterBox Defender Case for iPad 10th Gen

This rugged case fits the iPad 10th Gen and the iPad (A16) with a multi-layer design. A hard inner shell, soft outer slipcover and built-in screen protector work together to shield the tablet from drops and daily knocks. Port covers keep dust and dirt out of jacks and connectors. The package includes the case only.

For users who need serious drop protection

The case is tested to withstand twice the drops required by MIL-STD-810G 516.6, making it suitable for field work, school bags or active home use. The four-position kickstand supports typing, viewing, portrait and landscape modes. Buyers who want a slim folio or a purely decorative cover should look at something else.

Check that you own an iPad 10th Gen

The case is moulded for those models only and will not fit other iPad generations. Verify the model number on the back of your tablet matches the supported devices. The integrated screen protector covers the display, so remove any existing glass or film first. The unit weighs 0.572 kilograms and measures 2.8956 L x 20.701 W x 29.4894 H centimeters.

Questions about this item

Does the case require any extra accessory to cover the iPad 10th Gen screen?

No, the Defender Series includes a built-in screen protector that covers the display without needing a separate glass or film.

Will the Apple Pencil still attach magnetically to the side of the iPad 10th Gen when this case is fitted?

The case provides its own dedicated Apple Pencil storage slot, so the pencil sits inside the case rather than relying on the tablet's magnetic edge.

How can I confirm the kickstand locks into each of the four viewing angles after I put the case on?

Open the stand and rotate it; you will feel a firm click at each of the four positions for typing, viewing, portrait and landscape modes.
