Fully rugged convertible laptop

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 is a 10.1-inch convertible laptop built to MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and IP65 standards. Its magnesium alloy case withstands a six-foot drop while the screen swivels to transform the device into a tablet. A digitizer pen and power adapter are included for immediate use in the field.

Sunlight-viewable touch display

The XGA LED panel reaches up to 6000 nit brightness for clear visibility in direct sunlight. Touch and digitiser input allow precise control while wearing gloves or using the supplied pen. Integrated Verizon 4G LTE, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Gigabit LAN keep the unit connected across job sites without relying on a single network type.

Legacy Windows field computer

This unit ships with Windows 10 Pro 32/64-bit on a 160 GB hard drive and 4 GB of DDR3 800 memory. The single-core 2.70 GHz Core i5 handles basic diagnostics, inventory and reporting tasks. Buyers who need solid-state speed, multi-core throughput or larger storage should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What wired LAN speed does the 10/100/1000Mbps port cap at in practice?

The Gigabit Ethernet port negotiates up to 1000Mbps full-duplex when connected to a matching switch and cable.

What physical space is needed to swivel the 10.1" XGA screen into tablet mode?

Allow roughly the 10.1-inch screen width plus hand-strap clearance; the magnesium alloy chassis pivots on a central hinge without increasing footprint.

How is the digitizer pen calibrated after Windows 10 Pro boots, and what step is often missed?

Open Tablet PC Settings, run the 1024 x 768 screen calibration, then save the profile — skipping the save step loses the alignment on reboot.
