Fully rugged 2-in-1 detachable

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-20 is a new fully rugged laptop that detaches into a 10.1-inch tablet with one hand. It targets field workers who need a magnesium alloy chassis certified to MIL-STD-810G and IP65 for drops, dust, water and temperature extremes. The built-in handle doubles as a kickstand for flexible on-site use. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core m5-6Y57 processor.

2TB SSD and 16GB soldered memory

A 2TB SSD provides ample space for local project files, maps and offline databases without relying on cloud sync. The 16GB memory matches the maximum supported capacity, so multitasking headroom is fixed at this level. The single-core 1.1GHz Core m5-6Y57 with Intel HD Graphics 515 handles office apps and lightweight web tools but will not sustain heavy rendering or virtualisation workloads.

Digitizer pen and power adapter included

The bundled digitizer pen enables precise capacitive gloved multi-touch input on the 1920 x 1200 WUXGA IPS display with direct bonding and anti-reflect coating. The included power adapter and cord keep the detachable unit charged in the field. Buyers who need paper manuals or a discrete GPU for CAD should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the CF-20's 10/100/1000Mbps LAN port connect to my older 100Mbps switch without a converter?

Yes, the Gigabit Ethernet port auto-negotiates down to 100Mbps full-duplex, so it works directly with legacy Fast Ethernet switches and cables.

How can I verify the 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 multi-touch and digitizer pen are functioning after first boot?

Open Windows Settings > Devices > Pen & Windows Ink to test pressure sensitivity, then use the touchscreen calibration tool to confirm all ten touch points register across the WUXGA panel.

Which accessories ship with the unit — specifically the digitizer pen and power adapter — and is a spare battery included?

The box contains the CF-20 main unit with installed battery, the digitizer pen, AC adapter and power cord; a second battery is not supplied.
