Rugged 2-in-1 for field work

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-20 is a fully rugged 2-in-1 device that detaches into a 10.1-inch tablet. It is built for mobile professionals who need a durable Windows 10 Pro machine on job sites. The magnesium alloy chassis meets MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards. A built-in handle doubles as a kickstand for flexible viewing angles. It weighs 3.9 pounds.

4G LTE with FirstNet Band 14

The single specification that decides fit is the integrated 4G LTE Multi Carrier modem with FirstNet Ready Band 14 support. This provides dedicated priority connectivity for public-safety and utility crews. Without this specific band, the unit cannot access the FirstNet core network. The modem is the EM7511 module. Buyers who only need Wi-Fi or standard LTE should look elsewhere.

Detachable design with digitizer pen

The keyboard base releases with one hand to become a standalone tablet. A digitizer pen is included for precise input on the capacitive multi-touch WUXGA display. The spill-resistant keyboard and shock-mounted flex construction survive drops and vibration. No optical drive is present. Users must verify that 8GB soldered memory and 500GB storage meet application requirements before purchase.
