Rugged 13.1-inch Touch Laptop

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 is a fully rugged laptop built for field professionals who require MIL-STD-810G and IP65 certified durability. It integrates a sunlight-viewable 13.1-inch XGA touchscreen with digitiser pen support for gloved operation. Verizon 4G LTE and a GPS receiver provide connectivity and navigation in remote locations. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

256GB SSD and 4GB DDR3 Capacity

The 256GB solid-state drive offers fast boot times and shock-resistant storage for operating system and critical field data. 4GB of DDR3 800 memory, configured as two 2GB modules, handles single-application workflows and legacy Windows software adequately. Memory headroom runs out quickly with modern multitasking or browser-heavy tasks. The single-core 2.6GHz Intel Core i5 processor limits performance in compute-intensive scenarios.

Field-Ready Connectivity and Legacy Docking

Gigabit LAN and 802.11a/b/g/n wireless LAN ensure network access in facilities or vehicles. The chassis maintains 16 years of consistent docking compatibility for existing vehicle mounts and port replicators. No optical drive is fitted, reducing moving parts and weight for mobility. Included power adapter and digitiser pen complete the kit for immediate field use without extra procurement.

Questions about this item

Will the 13.1-inch XGA touchscreen and the 10/100/1000Mbps LAN port work with my existing docking station?

The CF-31 uses the same docking connector across six generations, so your current dock will connect the 10/100/1000Mbps LAN and drive the 1024 x 768 display without change.

How can I verify the Verizon 4G LTE and GPS receiver are active after I install the SIM?

Open Windows Device Manager, confirm the mobile broadband adapter appears under Network Adapters, then launch the GPS utility to watch live satellite lock and NMEA sentences.

Does the box contain the digitizer pen and power adapter, or must I order them separately?

Both the digitizer pen and the power adapter are included; no extra purchase is required for either accessory.
