Field Workers Needing Extreme Durability

This unit suits professionals who require a device certified for shock, vibration, dust and water ingress in challenging environments. The single-core 2.70GHz Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB DDR3 800 memory limit its fit for modern multi-threaded workloads or heavy multitasking scenarios. Buyers needing current-generation multi-core performance should consider other options.

Single-Core Processor Architecture

The Intel Core i5 CPU operates as a single-core processor at 2.70GHz with DDR3 800 memory in a 4GB x 2 configuration. This architecture determines the system's ability to handle only one instruction thread at a time. Verify that your target applications run adequately on single-threaded performance before purchasing.
