Built for field work

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 is a fully rugged 10.1-inch convertible laptop certified to MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and IP65. Its magnesium alloy chassis withstands a six-foot drop. A 2.70GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of DDR3 800 memory and a 500GB hard drive run Windows 10 Pro. Integrated Verizon 4G LTE and 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi keep you connected outdoors. A digitizer pen and power adapter are included.

Suits mobile professionals.

This machine fits field technicians, survey crews and first responders who need a sunlight-viewable XGA touchscreen rated up to 6000 nit and a tablet mode for one-handed use. Buyers who want more storage, faster multi-core processing or a larger display for desk-bound creative work should look elsewhere. The single-core CPU and mechanical drive limit performance in modern multi-threaded office suites and media editing.

Steady under sustained load

The sealed, fanless design meets military shock, vibration and ingress standards, so performance remains consistent in dust, rain or extreme temperature cycles. The 1024 x 768 LED panel stays readable in direct sun without throttling brightness. Passive cooling manages the 2.70GHz processor during long shifts, while the 500GB hard drive and 4GB x 2 DDR3 modules operate within their rated thermal envelopes without acoustic noise.

Questions about this item

What operating system must I already have a licence for to activate the Windows 10 Pro installed on this Toughbook CF-19?

The unit ships with Windows 10 Pro 32/64-bit pre-installed; no separate licence is required to activate it.

Will the 802.11a/b/g/n wireless LAN in this CF-19 connect to my older 802.11b/g router at home?

Yes, the WLAN module supports 802.11b and 802.11g, so it will associate with legacy routers at their maximum rates.

How can I verify the Verizon 4G LTE modem is functioning after I insert an active SIM?

Open the Windows network panel — a "Verizon LTE" connection appears with signal bars once the modem registers on the network.
