Rugged 13.1-inch touch laptop for field work

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 is a fully rugged laptop built to MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and IP65 standards. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a 2.7GHz Intel Core i5 single-core processor with 8GB of DDR3 800 memory. The 13.1-inch XGA touchscreen offers 1024 x 768 resolution and sunlight-viewable LED backlighting. A digitizer pen is included for precise input in outdoor conditions.

Check your software and peripheral needs before

This unit ships with a 160GB mechanical hard drive and no solid-state storage, so plan for slower boot and load times than modern SSD-equipped systems. The single-core processor limits multitasking and modern application performance. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11a/b/g/n and wired LAN is 10/100/1000Mbps. Verify that your required software supports 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 10 Pro and does not demand multi-threaded CPU performance.

Integrates with legacy docks and vehicle mounts

Six generations of consistent docking compatibility mean existing Toughbook vehicle mounts and port replicators will accept this CF-31 without hardware changes. The included power adapter supplies the unit directly. Integrated Verizon 4G LTE and a GPS receiver provide mobile connectivity and location services without external dongles. The rugged chassis frees up space otherwise needed for protective cases in harsh environments.
