Fully rugged 10.1" convertible laptop

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 is a fully rugged convertible laptop with a 10.1-inch touchscreen that swivels into tablet mode. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i5 processor at 2.5 GHz with 8 GB of DDR3 memory and a 256 GB SSD. MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and IP65 certifications confirm resistance to drops, vibration, dust and water jets for field professionals.

Passive cooling with magnesium chassis

The full magnesium alloy case acts as a heatsink for the single-core processor, allowing silent operation without moving air through vents. Power draw remains low thanks to the 1024 x 768 XGA LED panel and solid-state storage, while the sealed IP65 chassis keeps dust out of internal components during extended deployments.

Verizon 4G LTE GPS and digitizer pen

An embedded Verizon 4G LTE modem and GPS receiver provide mobile broadband and satellite positioning without external dongles. The bundled digitizer pen enables precise input on the sunlight-viewable touchscreen, and the included power adapter supports 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 10 Pro installations out of the box.

Questions about this item

How do I install the digitizer pen for the 10.1-inch XGA touchscreen, and what step is often missed?

The pen works immediately with the digitizer layer; the step users miss is calibrating it in Windows 10 Pro Tablet PC Settings after first boot.

What maintenance will the 256GB SSD and 8GB DDR3 800 memory need over time?

The SSD has no moving parts and needs no service; the DDR3 memory is soldered and not user-replaceable.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the Verizon 4G LTE module?

Continuous LTE transmission can hit thermal limits before the MIL-STD-810G rated chassis does, causing the modem to throttle.
