Letter-Size Filing Pack

This 21-count Pendaflex set supplies standard letter-size folders measuring 8.5 x 11 inches for home, school or office paperwork. Each folder uses premium paper stock with three interior expansion creases so the capacity adjusts as documents accumulate. Seven assorted colours enable instant colour-coded sorting of projects, bills, records or classroom handouts.

Tab Position Limits

The 1/3-cut tabs come in left, middle and right positions only, so every drawer or shelf section fits exactly three tab locations before the pattern repeats. This fixed spacing restricts how many distinct tab rows you can stagger in a single hanging file or binder. Users needing finer tab increments or continuous top-edge labelling will find the spacing too coarse.

Setup and Common Issues

Folders arrive flat; fold along the scored creases to form the expansion gussets and insert tab inserts into the pre-cut slots. Misaligned folds can prevent the gussets from expanding fully, and the paper tabs tear if forced into the wrong orientation. Overloading a folder beyond the crease limits causes the bottom edge to bow and the tabs to lift.
