9U Wall-Mount Server Cabinet

The PISKEKAT 9U wall-mount cabinet provides 9 rack units of enclosed space for network switches, patch panels and small servers. Its compact footprint suits offices, retail back-rooms or home labs where floor space is limited. The locking tempered-glass front door and locking side panels restrict physical access to installed equipment. SPCC cold-rolled steel construction supports a maximum load of 133lbs (60kg).

Pre-Installation Checks

Verify that the wall structure can bear the combined weight of the cabinet plus mounted gear up to 133lbs. Confirm the available mounting width and height accommodate the 22.4" W x 19.7" H external dimensions. Ensure the 17.7" overall depth and 13.75" usable depth suit your deepest device including cable bend radius. Plan cable entry routes through the top and bottom openings before fixing the unit.

Thermal and Operational Notes

The enclosure relies on passive airflow through vented sides and the top and bottom cable apertures; no fans are included. In typical office ambient temperatures the open mesh areas provide sufficient convection for low-to-mid density network gear. Acoustic output is limited to the noise of the installed devices themselves. Power distribution units or strips must be sourced separately to match your equipment plug types.

Questions about this item

Does the 9U wall-mount rack ship with mounting hardware, or do I need to buy wall fixings separately?

The cabinet includes the locking glass front door, quick-release side panels and internal rails; wall-mount fixings for your specific wall type are not supplied and must be sourced separately.

Should I choose the 9U height or a taller model for a patch panel, switch and small UPS?

At 9U you have 19.7" overall height and 13.75" usable depth, which fits a patch panel, switch and shallow UPS; select a taller unit only if you need more rack units or deeper equipment.

What does the 133 lb load rating mean when the cabinet is mounted on a stud wall?

The 133 lb (60 kg) rating is the maximum equipment weight the SPCC steel frame can carry when correctly secured to structural studs or masonry; verify your wall can support the combined load before installation.
