Paint Tray Capacity and Material

This paint tray holds two quarts and is moulded from black polypropylene. It measures fifteen inches long by eleven and nineteen thirty-seconds inches wide with a depth of three and a half inches. The rectangular shape suits roller and brush work alike.

Installation and Common Issues

The tray sits flat on any stable surface and requires no assembly or fasteners. Polypropylene resists most common solvents and cleans easily with water or mineral spirits. Deep ribs help distribute paint evenly across the roller. The material can become brittle in freezing temperatures so store it indoors when not in use.

Compatibility Check Before Ordering

Verify that your roller frame fits within the eleven and nineteen thirty-seconds inch width. Confirm the two-quart capacity matches the volume you typically mix for a single job. Ensure the three and a half inch depth clears the roller nap you prefer. The tray is designed to pair with the DPT-PTL liner for quicker colour changes.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the tray holds the full 2 qt capacity after first use?

Fill it with a measured 2 qt of liquid; the level should sit just below the rolled rim without spilling over the 3 1/2 in depth.

What comes in the box and what must I supply separately?

Only the black polypropylene tray is included; rollers, liners and paint are purchased separately.

Should I choose the 15 in length or the 11 19/32 in width version for a standard roller?

This single model provides both dimensions — 15 in overall length and 11 19/32 in overall width — so no version choice is needed.
