Vehicle Integration

This Pro Star CD player adds a single-disc drive to GMC Sierra 1500, 2500 and 3500 models from 2019 through 2026. It connects directly to the factory USB port so no extra wiring or tools are required. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box. Factory radio and steering-wheel controls operate playback once the device is recognised.

Indexing Behaviour

After a disc is inserted the system needs about two minutes to finish indexing before the installation is complete. Interrupting that process forces a full restart beginning with step one of the printed instructions. Once indexing finishes the drive responds to the vehicle’s native controls without further delay. Consistent power from the USB port keeps the sequence stable.

USB Port Limits

The player draws all its power from the vehicle’s USB port, so available current and port placement dictate where the unit can sit. Cable length restricts mounting to locations the lead can reach. Compatibility is limited to the listed Sierra trucks; other vehicles or model years are not supported by this device.
