12MP 16-Channel PoE Security Kit

This 12MP PoE security system includes eight bullet cameras and a 16-channel NVR with a 12TB hard drive. It is built for homes and businesses that need high-resolution wired surveillance with person, vehicle and pet detection. The cameras provide full-colour night vision using integrated spotlights and support two-way audio communication. Power over Ethernet simplifies installation by carrying data and power over a single cable.

Sustained Recording and Detection

The NVR records continuously from up to sixteen channels at 12MP resolution via H.265 compression, reducing bandwidth and storage demand during long-term operation. Smart detection filters identify people, vehicles and pets to minimise false alerts over extended periods. Cameras are rated IP66 for outdoor durability in rain, heat and cold. Encrypted storage and password protection secure footage throughout the retention cycle.

16-Channel NVR with 12TB Storage

The included 16-channel NVR supports up to sixteen cameras but ships with eight, leaving eight ports open for future expansion. Video output reaches 12MP over HDMI and 1080P over VGA depending on camera resolution. The pre-installed 12TB hard drive provides the primary recording capacity for this kit. Remote access is available through the free Reolink App and Client without subscription fees.

Questions about this item

How much heat or fan noise does the 16-channel NVR produce when recording 12MP video around the clock?

The NVR is a PoE recorder with an internal 12TB drive; it runs continuously but the supplier gives no power-draw, temperature or acoustic figures.

Which cables and network equipment must I already have to connect the 8 PoE cameras to the 16CH recorder?

Each camera needs a single Ethernet cable run to one of the NVR's PoE ports; no separate power adapters or external switches are required for the bundled eight cameras.

Will the 12MP cameras display correctly on my older 1080P monitor through the NVR's VGA output?

The NVR provides up to 12MP via HDMI and 1080P via VGA, so a 1080P screen will show the feed at its native resolution.
