8-Channel 12MP PoE Security System

This Reolink kit includes an 8-channel NVR with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive and four 12MP bullet cameras. It delivers ultra-high-definition video over a single Ethernet cable per camera. The system is designed for homeowners and businesses seeking a complete, wired surveillance solution.

Suits users needing expandable wired coverage

The NVR supports up to eight cameras, so four additional PoE units can be added later. It is not for buyers who want battery-powered or Wi-Fi cameras, nor for those requiring more than 2TB of internal storage without adding an external drive.

12MP resolution via HDMI output

The recorder outputs live view and playback at up to 12MP through its HDMI port, matching the camera sensors. VGA output is limited to 1080P. This specification determines the monitor clarity you will achieve.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the 8-channel NVR capacity and the 4 cameras included in this kit?

The NVR supports up to 8 PoE camera inputs, while the kit ships with 4 cameras. You can add up to 4 more compatible cameras later without replacing the recorder.

What does the 12 MP resolution mean for recorded footage on this system?

Each camera captures 12 MP video, and the NVR can output up to 12 MP via HDMI or 1080P via VGA, so fine detail is preserved on a 4K monitor.

What does the IP66 rating on the cameras actually protect against?

IP66 means the cameras are dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets, making them suitable for permanent outdoor installation in rain or dust.
