Roxicosly CR1030 Emergency Radio

The Roxicosly CR1030 is a multi-band emergency radio covering AM, FM and NOAA weather alert channels. It integrates a 12000mAh battery, an 8500mm² monocrystalline solar panel and a reinforced hand-crank generator into a single IPX6-rated enclosure measuring 6.8 in by 2.88 in by 4.74 in. A 5W adjustable flashlight, a 12-LED reading lamp, a 120dB SOS siren and a 3.5mm headphone jack complete the feature set.

Campers, hikers and household emergency planners

This radio suits anyone who needs reliable weather alerts and backup power without grid access. The five charging paths — solar, crank, USB-C, AAA cells and the internal battery — keep phones and lights running during extended blackouts. Buyers who require two-way communication, internet connectivity or a smaller pocket-sized device should look at other options.

Ready to use straight from the box

No tools or technical setup are required; extend the antenna, select a band and turn the volume knob. The solar panel charges automatically in direct sunlight, while one minute of cranking delivers immediate power for calls or light. Common issues include leaving the unit in deep discharge for months, which can degrade the 12000mAh cell, and expecting full solar recharge under heavy cloud cover.

Questions about this item

What power sources can I use if the 12000mAh battery runs out?

You can recharge the CR1030 via the 8500mm² solar panel, the hand crank, a USB Type-C cable, or three AAA cells.

Will the NOAA weather-band alerts still come through if I keep using an older AM/FM antenna?

The CR1030 has its own built-in antenna and high-sensitivity reception ICs; no external antenna is required for WB alerts.

How do I confirm the 120 dB SOS alarm and the dual lights are working after I set it up?

Press the dedicated SOS button to hear the 120 dB siren, then cycle the flashlight and reading-lamp buttons to verify each brightness level.
