AM/FM reception and Bluetooth streaming

This walnut-finished desktop radio receives AM and FM broadcast bands with an analog rotary tuner and a backlit dial scale. A tuning LED indicator helps you lock onto the clearest signal. Bluetooth with NFC pairing lets you stream audio wirelessly from a phone or tablet.

Listeners who want simple broadcast

It suits anyone who prefers tactile rotary controls and a traditional wooden cabinet for kitchen, office or bedside listening. Buyers who need DAB+ digital radio, internet streaming or multi-room synchronisation should look elsewhere.

6.5 W output from a single 3-inch driver

The built-in 3-inch, 8-ohm speaker delivers 6.5 W of power with dynamic bass compensation. A 3.5 mm auxiliary input, line-out and headphone jack with 5 mW per channel provide wired alternatives when Bluetooth is not used.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the included FM wire antenna to the 3.5 mm jack on the back panel?

Insert the antenna plug fully into the FM Ext. Antenna jack; the tuning LED indicator will brighten when the station is properly tuned.

Which component will need replacement first during long-term use?

The 12 V / 1.2 A external power adapter is the only replaceable power component; the cabinet and speaker have no user-serviceable parts.

At what volume level does the 3-inch 8-ohm driver begin to distort on sustained playback?

The 6.5 W amplifier drives the speaker cleanly at moderate levels; distortion rises when the rotary volume control is pushed near maximum for extended periods.
