Connects USB-A peripherals, SD and TF cards to a USB-C device with a USB 3.0 port at up to 5 Gbps and a micro-USB power input
This 5-in-1 USB-C hub adds a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, SD and TF card slots, and a micro-USB power input to a single USB-C connection. It is aimed at MacBook Pro users and owners of OTG-capable smartphones or tablets who need extra ports without installing drivers.
The hub replaces the need for separate dongles by combining data transfer up to 5 Gbps, legacy USB 2.0 or 1.1 support, and card access in one aluminium-bodied unit. The jump is worth it when a laptop or phone offers only a single USB-C socket and you regularly move files between cards, thumb drives and peripherals.
The USB 3.0 port handles keyboards, mice and flash drives at full 5 Gbps speed, while the card reader accepts either an SD or a TF card one at a time. The micro-USB port supplies power to the hub itself but cannot charge the host device or carry data, so very high-draw peripherals may still need their own supply.

The hub connects to a USB-C port that supports OTG function; if the phone or tablet lacks OTG it will not work with this adapter.
Connect a Micro USB power adapter to the dedicated Micro USB power port; this port supplies power to the hub only and does not charge the host device or transfer data.
The SD and TF card slots cannot operate simultaneously, so only one card can be accessed at a time; insert the desired card, transfer files, then remove it before using the other slot.
