Connects a 2.5-inch SATA III SSD or HDD to a USB 3.0 Type-A port at up to 5 Gbps with UASP support
This USB 3.0 to SATA adapter cable connects a 2.5-inch SSD or HDD to a computer using a standard 22-pin interface. It is designed for quick data access, drive cloning, or recovering files from older drives. The 30cm cable suits laptop bags and tight workspaces. It does not support 3.5-inch drives.
The built-in upgrade chip enables UASP technology and up to 5Gbps transfer rates, stabilising throughput and protecting data integrity. Read speeds reach 150MB/s over USB 3.0, with fallback to 480Mbps and 12Mbps on older ports. SATA I and SATA II drives are also supported at 1.5Gbps and 3Gbps.
The lightweight cable requires no external power supply or driver installation and supports hot-plugging for instant drive swaps. A USB-A connector plugs into Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, or Linux systems. The 22-pin SATA end mates directly with 2.5-inch drives up to 10TB capacity.

The 22-pin connector is rated for standard SATA mating cycles; avoid side load on the 30cm cable to prevent premature wear.
The USB 3.0 interface caps throughput at 5Gbps; real-world sustained speed also depends on the drive's own SATA 3.0Gbps or 1.5Gbps limit.
No external power is needed for 2.5in drives; the low-profile chipset runs cool under typical loads, and the short 30cm cable minimises voltage drop.
