Reinforced tabs for heavy filing

Smead 10336 folders use 11 point manila stock with reinforced top tabs to resist tearing at the stress point. The 1/3 cut second position tab layout keeps labels aligned in standard drawers. Rounded corners front and back reduce snagging. Each box contains 100 letter-size folders.

Check drawer depth and tab position

Verify that your filing cabinet or shelf accepts letter-size folders with a 1/2 inch high tab in the centre position. Confirm the 3/4 inch expansion score matches the thickness of your typical file loads. Ensure the manila colour fits your existing colour-coding system before ordering.

Expansion score and sustainable sourcing

The built-in 3/4 inch expansion score lets each folder grow without buying separate heavy-duty versions. Wood fibre comes from a certified managed forest, supporting responsible sourcing policies. Reinforced tabs and rounded corners extend folder life, reducing replacement frequency over time.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 100-count box of Smead 10336 folders?

The box contains 100 letter-size Manila file folders with reinforced 1/3-cut tabs in the second position, 11-point stock, rounded corners and a 3/4-inch expansion score.

Why choose the 1/3-cut second-position tab over other tab cuts?

The 1/3-cut second-position tab aligns with standard three-tab filing systems so labels stay in a straight column, and the reinforced top edge resists tearing during frequent handling.

How does the 11-point Manila stock perform in a busy office?

The 11-point construction gives a rigid folder that holds its shape when full, protects documents from creasing and withstands daily insertion and removal without the tabs bending.
